The staff's attentiveness was remarkable. Within minutes, they knew our names and room number, anticipating our needs without being intrusive. It was a delightful touch that made us feel like cherished guests. They even offered a late check-out before we could ask, understanding our desire to savor every moment. The on-site restaurant, with its breathtaking views, became our culinary haven. Each dish was a celebration of fresh, local ingredients, from the succulent seafood to the vibrant Thai specialties. The breakfast menu, a delightful departure from the usual buffet, ensured no food was wasted and catered to our individual preferences. Shantaa offered a wealth of activities, from kayaking and paddleboarding to snorkeling right off the resort's sandy beach. The calm, clear waters of the canal were perfect for beginners, and we found ourselves gliding effortlessly on paddleboards, surrounded by stunning scenery. The modern bungalows provided a comfortable and stylish retreat, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, creating an ambiance of relaxed elegance. Everything here is perfect. 9 lovely bungalows nestled into a lush green coconut garden. Welcomed with fresh coconut and an early check in. Great aircon and fan in room, tv (didn’t use it) kettle, clean bedding, towels and toiletries. Breakfast is delicious with the highlight of fresh espresso coffee every morning. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us a map and a few pointers of where to explore. 2 minutes walk to restaurants and Thai mini mart less than 10 to a beach. The Corner was our favourite place to eat (just around the corner), so friendly, cheap and very delicious food. Ko Kut is paradise and our stay here has been exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful little accomodation, amazing people, near a breathtaking beach. Check in was fast and smooth, room was clean and tidy. Big bathroom. Little lizzards came to visit us one evening, I was a bit scared 😀 Great breakfast included in the price, there was a good selection of fresh fruits, toasts, eggs, sausage, cheese, spreads and also Thai breakfasts that were different each day. There is also small shop to buy water and/Or snacks. You can get your loundry washed for 70 baht/kg and rent a scooter for 250 baht/day. Their restaurant was amazing, we tried chicken pad thai and chicken with cashew nuts and both were absolutely amazing! We would definitely come back here, thank you again for a great hospitality 💜

Don't sleep on this place, it is absolutely magical. The women who we interacted with (who ran the place?) were very kind and relaxed. The taxi from the ferry dropped us off at the wrong place (Bang Magkok) and the women at Baan Bua came and got us! We also accidentally locked our key in the safe, and again they rescued us. The food they serve is AMAZING. The atmosphere is AMAZING. They had all the small touches like towels, a cover up and a beach blanket in a wicker bag for us to use (free). Air conditioner works amazing. Bed is so comfy. Room is large. Extremely clean. We stayed at another hotel after this, and despite that hotel being directly on a gorgeous beach... we STILL loved Baan Bua more! Just make sure you can ride a motorbike because you will need them to get around (they're automatic transmission and 250 thb rental from them a day). We rented 2 and it didn't take us long to travel to the various beaches. I have traveled a lot around the world, and this hotel is in my top 10 for sure. THANK YOU BAAN BUA!

Deng (and her niece) were the best hosts I have ever encountered on my travels. They were so accommodating to every wish we had and provided everything we needed to get the most out of our stay in Koh Kood. Breakfast was so delicious, the view from the dining table was phenomenal and the room was adorable! Our stay was nothing short of magical. The fact that so few people can stay at Canale made it great for us to interact with other guests as well and share stories and tips during coffee or tea in the evening. This is the first time during all of my travels that a place I went to felt like home. Once again, thank you Deng (and niece), you played a huge part in making our stay amazing!
