Honestly, I’m used to traveling to Istanbul and this hotel was by far one of the cleanest ones. Small but very stylish and clean. Right in front of the port to cross the Bosporus. Sympathetic staff, not noisy and friendly. Would definitely come back here.

Dekalb exceeds every expectation . It is a beyond all stars hotel experience from the luxurious rooms and warmth that one is treated to from the time you walk through the door . It is located across from the ferry terminal with expansive views over the water to the European side of Istanbul . The hospitality of the Owner ,guest relations manager and front desk staff is unparalleled and we loved our home away from home experience. Nothing was too much for the staff from making restaurant recommendations to towns to visit with clear directions to taking the tram around the peninsula. The owner even kept us company while we waited for our long trip back home . What a very special experience that leaves a lasting taste of Turkish hospitality. Everyone should experience this hotel which is brand new and in a class of its own in Kadikoy which is a town that gives one a full experience of the authentic side of Istanbul .

Kind staff, super clean. Hotel is made with expensive materials and furniture. There’s a gallery downstairs with various expositions. restaurant is great with quality menu, not very cheap but acceptable, you can dine for around 15-20 euros.
The area where hotel is located is another jewel, super quiet and relaxed district. There are parks and promenade along the sea, many cafes and restaurants.
Having in mind it’s not super close to historic center, you can still reach it in around 30 minutes with Marmaray rail or by ferry from Kadikoy. Location is great to explore Asian part, you can easily go to Prince Islands and dive deep in their history and culture.

The location is fantastic. The apartment is located in the heart of Kadiköy, close to all the district's attractions, yet on a quieter side street. It's also very close to the metro and the port with a ferry crossing across the Bosphorus. Communication with the owner is exemplary. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
