The hotel was in a great location in the Old Town - easy walking distance to many sites of interest, on a quiet little street with good cafes nearby. The rooms were clean and we loved the quaint older Ottoman style of the hotel. There were 5 of us girlfriends in 3 rooms, and this was our introduction to Istanbul! Breakfast was great each morning and Vural, who greeted us at breakfast and each time he saw us in the lobby, was so very friendly and helpful if we needed anything. He offered to store our luggage until we picked it up at the end of the day, arranged taxi for us and helped us with directions. Loved the service!

The room is amazing and there are even 2 TV in the room. The decoration is really beautiful and the room is clean and decent. Breakfast is good. The location is good, easily get into the center on a walk. The staffs are very kind and helpful.

The Person named SAMET INCEKARA from the Customer Care was indeed a real professional and indeed a GEM!! They treated me like a KING! This is how a customer should be treated always. They offered free Breakfast which was indeed not included in my package and the kept asking twice daily if I needed anything or if there are any complaints.
I have referred them to all my business and family contacts and I am sure they will feel at home while being at Akgun Hotel. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

The receptionist is really nice, i think his name is Nur Din. He gladly accommodate to get to the room when i arrive early in the morning after a long flight. The room is very good in overall, and well-cleaned when we got there. The rest of the staff are also nice and sweet, they are very helping when we got confused on certain things. The receptionist may also help you get a taxi to the airport, and he helped us get the XL car with a very reasonable price.
