All the staff were very friendly: Bruce the GM and Jerome his deputy went out of their way to introduce themselves and welcome us to the Hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The reception organised a pick up from the ferry terminal and transport to the airport. The hotel is close to the various foreign embassies. It's close to the national museum which is worth a morning visit. And It feels safe to walk to the supermarket (a few mins away) or going the other direction it's about a 20mim walk to the centre. But Tuk Tuks are cheap and generally easy to find. The swimming pool although not deep, is a lovely oasis in the city. really enjoyed our stay.

Situated adjacent to a golf course and gymkhana club, Serena Hotel provides views over the Indian Ocean.

I liked the room and its facilities... Things were just in order. I wish I had a lot of time in Dar for me to enjoy the other facilities of the hotel. Sad that I couldnt even wait for breakfast as my flight out was 6am.

Loved the quick check in, courteous and helpful staff, size of the room and wash room, the lovely spacious balcony facing the harbour Decent breakfast options. Special shout out to Jaqueline Happy and the frint desk staff who guided us well for navigating the city. Strong wifi. Exceptional house keepung. Great choice of transport options from/to the hotel Two thumbs up all around. Am returning on 23rd. November and looking forward to thecomfortable stay and warm hospitality.
