We liked everything: The old and tasteful architecture, the garden, the friendly staff, nice rooms, location. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice and lots of fresh products. Transportation from and to the airport worked well. The staff helped us to get Bolts in town too. Several nice restaurants in the vicinity, perfect location away from the quite ugly down-town Dar. We also walked to the Tingatinga co-operative and ran in the neighbourhood. Very good value for money! We will recommend to everybody and would certainly stay again.

This is a great hotel at a great location, along the main road in Oyster Bay, and within easy reach of the waterfronts to both sides. My room was large, with a comfortable big bed. There was a good working desk, very good Wifi, fresh drinking water every day. A/C was functioning well all the time. Staff were very nice and helpful. There's a huge restaurant on the ground floor. Across the street there's a supermarket, there's many restaurants (try the great fish restaurant Samaki Samaki, but also the restaurant across from it has fresh grilled fish) and shops around, and an ATM, money exchange and pharmacy right next door. If you need a tuc-tuc or motorcycle taxi, they are all around. Big parking place on the hotel grounds too.

The hotel is quiet and has a beautiful and distinctive character. What I liked most was the staff's treatment, especially Sophia. As for the resident manager, Mr. Suman, he is wonderful and special. When he saw me sewing a waist bag, he insisted on helping me and sewing it for me in a special way. It is a wonderful gesture from a distinguished manager.

2 bedroom flat, close to the beach (a 10 min walk), super close to lovely supermarket and a couple of eating options (cafe in the supermarket and a restaurant next door with a small playground). Easy to get bolt/uber from this location. The actual flat was a little run down but considering the price it was value for money. We couldn't figure out the shower and were missing a couple of things but staff were helpful and sorted us out. We were there 4 nights and Hans sent a cleaner after 2 nights to clean the flat (they did a great job) which was much appreciated. He also let us check out late as my flight wasn't until 4:30pm. Overall, a good place to stay if you prefer your own space and a bit of freedom. Great location. Pool was also a plus.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is very convenient and easy to access, making it simple to move around. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The facilities were great and had everything I needed, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The mattress was not as comfortable as I had hoped, but everything else about the stay was truly wonderful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
