I had a wonderful stay at OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. The location is perfect — right on the beach with easy access to everything in Waikiki. My room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had an amazing ocean view.
The staff were warm and welcoming from the start. I especially appreciated the live Hawaiian music in the evenings and the relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort.
The pool, beach bar, and on-site dining made it easy to enjoy every moment without leaving the property. It truly felt like a tropical getaway. I would definitely return.

We loved staying at this hotel and we highly recommend staying here for a vacation in Honolulu-Waikiki area! We did mention during the reservation that we are celebrating a big birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find in our room a complimentary bottle of champagne and a selection of fresh fruit. The room was beautiful, very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view over the ocean (Ocean Front), which was perfect for enjoying the sunrise and sunset.
During our stay, we were out exploring the island but after our arrival back to the hotel, while we were relaxing at our lanai (balcony), we managed to catch a glimpse of the evening show featuring a former Miss Hawaii.
The hotel location is perfect - it is literally on the beach (tiny one by the hotel but a pleasant walk to the main beach) and within a short walking distance from the shopping area, yet the hotel is quiet. The breakfast buffet was generous, with lots of delicacies and amazing fresh fruit, we enjoyed sitting outside under the palm trees.
The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. Thank you for making our short stay so memorable!

Fantastic property in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the beach, cafes, restaurants & shops. I loved the decor, felt so right for Waikiki. The hosts have provided pretty much everything you might need, including beach towels & chairs for the beach, as well as plenty of options to prepare meals if that’s what you want to do. The bed was comfy, the shower is great & the balcony is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or afternoon drink enjoying the view. Really enjoyed my time here!
