What a wonderful experience we had at Hotel Sherman, I can truly recommend this establishment. A little gem in the middle of New York. From booking to checking in and out they exceeded our expectations. The personal touches were noticed, rarely and hugely appreciated. The rooftop was such an added bonus to our stay. The location is great - it's easy to reach using the public transport and lots of famous sights are withing walking distance. Midtown East probably isn't the most romantic location NY has to offer but it's a very safe one, even late at night, and that's definitely a big plus. The staff was very helpful and the rooms are pretty spacious and very clean. We had a nice view of Top of the Rock from our room. The windows also blocked most of the noise coming from the busy nearby avenues. The bathrooms are equipped with hi-tech "Japanese" toilets - this was my first close encounter with one of these and now I totally want one in my home bathroom as well :)

The hotel was simply wonderful
Excellent location and a staff that helps with everything.
The hotel is not new, but provides a very pleasant atmosphere in contrast to the big chaos of New York.
The 2nd floor where there is coffee, good fruit and snacks 24 hours is simply wonderful.
I highly recommend it and thank you for the amazing staff.
