Small and welcoming hotel, perfectly located near Times Square. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff (which you can’t get in the usual big franchised hotels). The family suite was perfect for 2 adults and 3 teenagers with a lovely private terrace and 2 separate bedrooms with Queen beds. Lots of cool restaurants close to the hotel.

We stayed for seven nights and any time we encountered any staff members, they were phenomenal - you can see they are the ones who carry this hotel. Upon booking I mentioned to the hotel that this was a honeymoon trip from Europe to NYC and they made sure we feel special. Not only did we get an upgrade to a room on the 27th floor with a view of the Empire State Building, but there was also champagne, a cake & a personalised note waiting for us - we really felt pampered. Since this wasn't our first time in one of the DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, we know their standards and let me tell you, they really care about their SOPs - from serving their signature cookies on check-in, to making sure they offer their turn down service. The hotel also offers breakfast in the restaurant on the ground floor and it has a fantastic rooftop bar with views of the Manhattan skyline and cocktails to die for. It also has a security guard at the entrance so it feels safe. We will be back!
