The hotel has an authentic and charming vibe. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It’s a multi-storey building where each room opens onto an outdoor gallery with elevator access. The location is great — close to Russian Hill, with lots of public transport nearby. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the waterfront. I’d definitely recommend this place for a budget-friendly stay in the city.

Great value-for-money hostel! Booked the private queen room, and it didn't disappoint! The room was big (compared to what most other SF hotels offer), and it looked and felt like it was a regular room from a 3 or 4 star hotel. Staff were friendly too. Will be booking this again when I return to SF.

Stayed for 6 nights, room was clean with a sitting area. Coffee machine, microwave and fridge, hair dryer, iron & iron board. Nil laundry but coin laundrette a short distance away. Relatively safe area - around 30 min walk to Fishermans warf & cable car. Safeway store close aswell. Happy with our stay.
