Great location for everything we wanted to do. It felt safe, and the beds were SO comfy! The bathrooms were clean and the showers were absolutely lovely, loved that they had a private toilet for added privacy. They have lots of lockers and good access to the surrounding area, everything was about a 5-15 minute walk which was perfect I'd definitely stay here again so I can experience more of what they have to offer!

The Waterman is well situated for the waterside and downtown. It's easy to walk to the beach, the wharf, the Presidio, and the Los Banos pool (a lovely outdoor pool). The hotel room was fine but no more than fine. It did have lots of hooks to hang coats from though... Breakfast facilities were minimal, but there was plenty of availability of free coffee and tea. We didn't see any guests using the cooker hob - slightly weird in a hotel, but if you fancied scrambling some eggs then the equipment was there. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. OK for a one night stay.
