The room was very spacious and well equipped. All the equipment were brand new and worked perfectly and bedding was very comfortable. Not to mention, the room was properly kept clean by the non-intrusive and efficient cleaning service. The restaurant and bars (including the roof-top bar in summer) offered qualitative, tasty and varied cuisine regardless the time of the day (breakfast, lunch or dinner). The hotel facilities are well maintained and the service is proactive. The location is also very convenient: 15min walk from the National Mall or the White House. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Conrad Washington and I would definitely consider including this hotel in my future travel plan in D.C. I would really recommend it for either business or leisure travelers who are looking for a nice place to stay in Washington D.C.

Cannot rate The Poppy higher. Amazing stay. Incredible hospitality. We got in at 6am, and basically had to sit in a park close by, but we took our chances and went back, just as a staff member was leaving. She was very happy to let us leave our bags, but did a quick check and saw our room hadnt been occupied the night before, so she let us in! An absolute living legend! Our room was stunning, we ended up staying another night.
We LOVED our stay here. Highly highly recommend. Great location in a nice quiet part of Georgetown, but a short walk to M street.

Amazing place in a pleasant area, we really enjoyed our stay and Karen was wonderful. She left us a nice food basket so we could enjoy our first day after a long transatlantic flight without having to run out for shopping.
Karen was also always available for giving infos etc. Should we come back to Washington DC we would definitely stay here again.
