Beatiful location and property. The reception hall is chic and spacious with several small seating areas and a small but inviting dining area. The pool area is fantastic and I really enjoyed lounging by the pool. The rooms were large and clean with large windows and lots of sunlight. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great spot.

Great location right on the beach, the sunbeds there were fantastic. Also some nice spots to sit int he restaurant if you need to do a bit of work with an amazing view out. Quite boutique in style which we liked as well.

Absolutely fantastic, really loved this place, staff are so friendly, really go out of their way for you, everywhere spotlessly clean at all times, great kitchen, with sharp knives, really nice breakfast, 100% recommend, near nice beach and also only 10 mins on bus from punts del este if you wan to visit there but so worth staying here

Lovely and perfectly kept small whitewashed hotel in a nice location overlooking Montoya Beach, just outside La Barra, with swimmingpool and charming garden.The exceptionally kind owners were very attentive to all our wishes and concerns. We had a large and clean comfortable room with a view to the garden and sea. Very nice generous breakfast on the terrace or inside with classical music and exotic birds painted on the walls. I remember birds singing in the morning.... We had reserved one week and wanted to come back for another one!!

We had a private room in a bit older building of the hostel, but it was a large room, with a good, big bed and a perfect shower (even a rain shower!). Wifi worked very well. There are a couple of common rooms which you can also use, even if you have booked a private room. That's very nice in the evening. It's nice that the breakfast includes fresh fruit. Regarding the price, the stay is absolutely good value for money. But what really makes Negrita Hostel the absolutely perfect stay is owner Camillo: he is very friendly, attentive and gave us a lot of information: restaurants in the area, but also in Punta del Este and even on the way to Montevideo. Also good information about museums, sights, things to do,... I would absolutely stay in Negrita Hostel again if I would travel to the region again.
