This is simply a wonderful hotel run by a lovely lady, Sabine. Upon arrival her famous banana bread is served with coffee as Sabine takes time with you to explain the local places of interest, and marks them on a map she gives you. The venue is situated in the gardens district, all clean and safe, and is within walking distance of a park, supermarket, restaurants, and bars. Only negative is a lack of street taxis, so it is really essential to be able to use uber here. Every morning Sabine greets you with coffee and banana bread, and a quick chat. The personal service here is outstanding. Will I stay again? I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Cape Town! Many thanks Sabine.

We had a wonderful stay at La Grenadine! We loved the attention to detail in the decor of the rooms and the location was just perfect—surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. Despite the lively area, the peaceful garden was a perfect relax. Maxime and his team were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great! The location was very convenient—easy to access the city center. We really enjoyed that there were plenty of great cafés, restaurants, and bistros within walking distance, along with essential shops like a pharmacy and grocery stores.
