All I can say about my stay here is super positive. The quality of the whole structure is superb, they have the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen, an amazing indor-outdoor spa, a fantastic restaurant and above all, a great service provided from the staff. This is an excellent hotel. I stayed for one week on a walk in the mountains holiday. The hotel offers an outstanding value half-board option (breakfast and evening meal), which I recommend. They have a lovely system of table allocation. You are shown your table in the restaurant on your first day and this becomes your table for the duration of your stay, breakfast and evening meal. The service staff in the restaurant go the extra mile to ensure everything is to your satisfaction and all speak English to make you feel comfortable. The room is stylish and comfortable with a very well-equipped bathroom. As a bonus, my room had a balcony with a table and chairs, that offered fantastic views of the mountains, with both impressive sunrises and sunsets. The owners are involved in the day-to-day management of the hotel, and it shows. If you like good food, comfortable accommodation, fresh air and marvellous mountain walking on your doorstep this is a great choice.

We had a great stay in Tristenau. Maria, the manager of the apartments, was very helpful at all times and even recommended us amazing hiking trips. The room was perfectly equipped and the beds very comfy. The kitchen was also very complete. On top of that, the sauna and the wellness area were very cozy too. However, our favorite thing has to be the breakfast, I woke up so excited every morning to have breakfast... amazing! We could also see sheeps through our window :) super cute. We would definitely repeat here. Thanks a lot for everything P&R

The two ladies at breakfast were so pleasant and made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Made waking up a pleasure. The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at any hotel. The lakeside lounge area was also special. The rooftop spa area was tastefully done with views over the lake and mountains, although a 2pm opening time for the sauna felt overly restrictive.

Everything. Lovely house, cosy comfortable room with all facilities needed and a sauna as a bonus. Amazing host - Jessy welcomed and supported us beyond our expectations. Incredible place and surroundings. One of the best apartment stays we had during our worldwide travels. Will definitely come back here!
