This park is so fantastic for kids and families especially. It's closed in/self-contained, so kids just ride around on their bikes through all the flat roads. There's a great park, the beach on one side, the lake on the other. We stayed in the lake view cabins which have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes (also air conditioning), but there's plenty of room for camping, beautifully kept toilet and shower blocks (20c for 3 min of hot water), BBQ areas, little mini mart. There's just so much there. A perfect way to unwind.

Host provided some neccesaties like packaged cereal, milk, tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt & pepper, sauces etc. Worked very well for us as we cooked our own breakfast.

Very quick walk to a beach. Nice patio with backyard and plenty of things for kids to do. Easy walk to cafes with delicious fresh pies and coffees. Host provided a few snacks and coffees which was great.
