Stolac is a beautiful and peaceful little town, full of history and charm, and the locals are some of the kindest and most welcoming people we’ve met on our travels. The apartment itself was modern, spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need – from kitchen essentials to little comforts that made us feel right at home. What truly made our stay special were the hosts. The owner was fantastic – friendly, communicative, and genuinely caring. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great tips for dinner and exploring the area. The hostess even washed our laundry, which was such a warm and generous gesture. This was one of those places where you instantly feel comfortable and safe. We would absolutely love to come back in the future – it felt more like visiting friends than just renting an apartment. All our compliments to the hosts – we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the region!

A great place to relax in nature with a warm welcome! This beautiful house is located in a quiet, natural setting and features a large, cool pool. The property feels secluded and peaceful, and you have the entire fenced-in grounds to yourself. Everything you need is available, including the option to make your own Bosnian coffee or a regular one if you prefer. If you're interested in making Bosnian coffee, the owners will surely be happy to teach you :) The cottage is easy to find, situated near a main road and close to the town of Stolac, where you can find everything you need (restaurants, a supermarket, pizzeria, a bakery, etc.). The owners are very welcoming and friendly. They made us feel right at home and even put a small magnet from our country on the fridge as a thoughtful touch. They are also open to suggestions and are always available to help. We had a great time and hope to return for another holiday with these kind people!

We had a beautiful stay. Everything was super clean. The place was very cozy. Swimming in the pool is great, especially for families, as the fence prevents anyone from outside from looking into the pool. The Host was very kind.

What an incredible stay we had at Family Sakota Country House! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Svjetlana and Milivoje. Their warmth and genuine hospitality are unmatched. You can see and feel the love and care they have poured into this spacious home, from the tasteful interior to the beautifully maintained garden. The property is simply stunning: a large swimming pool, vast grounds all around the house, and complete privacy and peace. Yet, charming destinations like Mostar, Blagaj and Stolac are only a short drive away. It’s the perfect combination of serene relaxation and cultural day trips. Svjetlana and Milivoje also know all the best places to eat in the region and are happy to share their insider tips. They truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay by three extra days. That’s how relaxed and at ease we felt here. They speak a little English, but with the help of Google Translate and ChatGPT they communicate wonderfully. Always with a smile, patience, and all the time in the world to make sure you are happy. You can feel their pride in their property, and rightfully so. For anyone who wants to experience the warmth of the people in this region, combined with a beautiful home, a huge garden and complete tranquillity, this is an absolute must. Excellent, clean, warm, quiet, sunny apartment with comfortable beds, great location, free parking, polite owner! If you open the windows, you can hear the sound of the river!) Can accommodate from 4 to 6 people if two couples will spend the night who will sleep together. Highly recommend!)
