The hotel is old (60'-70'). The conditions are not TOP, but we are talking about a high altitude location. The staff is friendly and they work hard to keep it clean. Their services are impeccable as well. Chapeau! An exquisite location. I will return there asap.

the apartment is just perfect after a long day of driving. nice and well heated, all facilities you might need and comfortable. further more, it's just next to the highway. and there's a choice of restaurants at walking distance. Marco & Maura are quick to respond to your msg.

We stayed here in 2022 and now again in 2023...and this is still one of those really great unique hotels...top of the Grimsel Pass in central Switzerland...the weather determines everything...one moment thick cloud and then a stunning view..thats the Alps for you. Great hotel in the scenic Grimsel Pass area. Fabulous location for walking or visiting the Gelmerbahn. Bus stops at the door and it's only 1 hour from Meiringen. The terrace restaurant is nice for during the day or pre-dinner drinks. Food is outstanding especially considering the isolated location. Well done to the kitchen staff and chef.
