Don’t judge too harshly for the lack of air conditioning - in such historic buildings, getting permits is extremely difficult. Everything is arranged to the highest standard, and breakfast is excellent - served in a restaurant that once held a Michelin star. + There are so many lovely little touches, like complimentary drinks in the fridge. The town itself is charming and full of history. And you’ll be staying just 300 meters from the inner courtyard of Burgdorf Castle, where you can watch the sunset. Highly recommended!

    Unique castle setting in gorgeous area, calm and healthy nature surroundings, very nice for families with young children. Nearby farm animals and sounds of cow bells in the morning and distant historic train 2 times per day. Hiking and biking region. Recommend traveling there by car. Approx. 25 mins to Bern.
