What a wonderful hotel! The location right at the base of the Avatar Mountains is perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful - they arranged all our park tickets and the shuttle service made getting around a breeze. Really enjoyed the beautiful pools and the delicious breakfast with local options. Such a comfortable and well-organized stay, highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Anthony was very helpful explaining us the places to go in the national park and helping us book the tickets for the heavens gate. The Zhangjiajie Forest park entrance is only 10 minutes walking from the hotel and he even accompanied us the first day hiking in the park.

We absolutely loved our stay! Very clean, comfortable, spacious and modern (love the modern toilet and actually having a filtered water tap in the room) Absolutely stunning views in a really quiet area. Taxis were easy and cheap to get to and from the entrances and into the town for more amenities but they did offer us a beautiful traditional dinner at the hotel. Hosts are amazing, we loved her! Super helpful in helping us plan our days and book tickets and picking us up, laundry etc. It really was a home from home. (All pics from the room/grounds)

I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation hosted by Xiaomei. Xiaomei and her brother were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our visit. We had a tight schedule, and they went above and beyond in recommending the best ways to fit all of our plans. As an unexpected delight, Xiaomei taught us how to play Mahjong, and it was an absolute blast! The room we stayed in was wonderful, providing a cozy and comfortable space to relax after a long day of exploring. The breakfast served was not only delicious but also a perfect start to our mornings. Overall, our experience here was memorable, thanks to Xiaomei's hospitality and the exceptional quality of the accommodation. We can't wait to return!

The stay was very good. The people, and Carol of the Tongfu Inn are super friendly and open. Carol recommended us very clearly what places to visit and gave us recommendations on the local shows. Carol offered us lots of shared cabs to the city which was sooo mich more cheap than just getting cab on yourself. Thanks alot!!!
