Family hotels and homes in Bejuco

Beautiful hotel with ocean view and a special attention to details. The room was small, but charming. We really enjoyed the common area and the terrace with the ocean view. The perfect place for a morning yoga class. My husband also worked very well from that area. The pool was also amazing especially in the evening, after a long drive. 😊 By far, the best ever Mango Marguerita and huevos rancheros.

Here's a list of the great things about this house: -The owner is exceptional! He communicated with us 2 weeks before our arrival and answered all our questions. This was our first trip to CR, and he gave us so many great tips. He gave us recommendations for where to stop for lunch along the road to the property from San Jose to where to shop for groceries. He was also very flexible in coordinating payment. -Gilberto is the property manager and he was extremely attentive. He met us at the house within a minute of our arrival and he was always available any time we needed anything. In fact, we needed an extra blanket for one of the beds and Gilberto showed up with a new comforter within an hour. We have had room service at hotels take longer! We felt like with Gilberto, we had a concierge. -The house is set back from the main road and very private. It has tall hedges that surround it and a gated driveway for added security. At night, the porch has retractable doors that can be closed. CR is safe, but we appreciated the sense of safety of being in a house that had added security features. -The town of Parrita has everything that you need, but it is not touristy. It has multiple grocery stores and convenience markets, and it is halfway between Quepos and Jaco. Plus the Playa Bandera is only a five minute drive from the house and it is a gorgeous and almost deserted beach. If you want just a beach vacation, you can stay at Hotel Villa Elenita and never leave the town of Parrita. -The kitchen appliances are new and top notch. Everything was clean and operated without any problems. -The bathroom is huge, clean, has great hot water, and the water pressure is good. -The bedrooms are big with plenty of storage space, and the beds and pillows are amazing. Everyone in our family slept like babies at Hotel Villa Elenita. We felt like the beds at this vacation house were more comfortable than ours back home!

What a paradise we discovered WOW !Just a absolutely gorgeous property! The staff is amazing , I notice they all work together, and that's why it works so well ! The owner, Mark, is a hands-on guy. You may find him up a ladder folding towels and greeting guests ! He works very hard to make your experience the best it can be ! It's easy to see ! Breakfast was such a nice touch , and yummy 😋 I can't say enough about the staff , their kind, very welcoming, and so helpful !We stayed in the beautiful 3 bedroom Tucan suite, which was just perfect ! Seeing as we were 2 friends,traveling together, it worked perfectly for us ! Do yourself a favor when you find yourself in Costa Rica again . Check out Mark's place ! I also admire Mark for taking that huge step of leaving Florida to open a beautiful place in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 it all sounds good and fun, but let's face it takes guts !! I will always support people who take chances and toss everything to the universe and look what you get sometimes !!! A gem of a hotel on the beach and a surfers dream. The staff were incredible especially Alejandro. Great pool, food, rooms. Highly recommended

Stunning resort! Great pool, beautiful rooms and lush gardens, wonderful food. After we just arrived we went for a walk on the beach and found a nest of turtles hatching (daytime and off season). The most amazing experience, better than any tour we did in CR!

Nice and clean house, fast communication with the owner, had a great stay! Nice private parking.
