Ah it's a quirky charming place.. very easy to stay there. Two minutes walk to a lovely beach. it's $60 cab fare from Nosara airport so it's worth organising transport beforehand. Lovely balcony..

We loved that the beach was right in front of the property. Alejandro, the host, was super kind. Communication was quick and he helped us with everything that we needed. He made our stay (2 adults, one 5 year old and a baby) very comfortable. Parking is right on the property. If you are interested in fishing, the beach is amazing to catch some nice fish: there are roosters, jacks, trigger fish, blue runners, mangrove snapper and more... Locals there know how it's done and fish there daily. They are kind and can help you out. If there are plenty of sardines in the water, safe your time with artificial lures. Get some sardines and fish on the bottom. You won't wait long for a bite ;)

We had an amazing time in San Juanillo. The beach is within walking distance. Had a flat tyre, staff immediatly helped us to get it fixed. Everyone was superfriendly. We also appreciated the flexibility because we needed to delay our vacavions, was no problem! Pool is very chilled and clean.

We are a well traveled family but this hotel is just amazing. I stayed with my daughter for 5 days and everything was just perfect. Hardly saw any hotel wich is so nice surrounded by nature and we observed so many animals, howling monkeys everywhere. It is outstanding how much that hotel cares about the environmental outcome. The staff is very friendly and the laundry service a big plus. We loved to drive around with the bikes. The breakfast is lovely and the walk through the jungle directly to beach observing crabs and frogs, couldn’t get enough.

Very nice hotel, located directly at the beach. Excellent restaurant and pool bar. Friendly staff. The rooms have been large, newly renovated and clean, with fridge and kitchenette. I spend a week there with my adult kids and we had lots of fun.

Traveled from Phila, PA with my older sister to visit my brother and his family who bought land to build upon. They are renting. The resort was not at all crowed during our stay and was beautiful in all aspects of our visit. Several pictures to compliment this write up. My sister stayed in an upper floor and I was on the lower. View of the ocean was gorgeous. Food was excellent and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. This place is a Diamond in the Rough.
