Spacious room on first floor. Quiet despite party in adjacent beer garden. Large bathroom with shower. Comfy beds. Free parking. Homelike breakfast, i.e. everything is on the table (including filter coffee), no buffet. Self-made jams, attractive choice of meats, hard-boiled eggs. We did not try the restaurant.

Regional cuisine, free WiFi and free use of the sauna are offered at this 3-star superior hotel. It is is quietly situated in the Bergisches Land countryside, a 30-minute drive from Cologne.

not the best breakfast in the world but not the worst. The staff were very nice and helpful, the location was exceptional with very picturesque gardens with outside eating areas. The distance of this property from Europort at Rotterdam make it a superb place to visit on your way back to said port or in fact travelling the other way. I. would recommend this hotel to any traveller for work or pleasure.

Set in the Bergisches Land nature park, in the town of Gummersbach, this hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the town centre. You have free use of fast Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

It was a very beautiful place, nice scenery, very clean house, easy access, free parking in front of the house. Overall excellent experience, and not to forget the host - exceptionally polite and caring. We are extremely satisfied with our stay.

Great family Hotel. First of all, I felt welcome. I had a problem and the personell helped me with a kind smile. Arrival: free parking at the hotel, no stress. Breakfast: served at the table plus buffet, I asked for a fried egg and had it made for me, for sure not standard for the category. And then attention for details, for example the fridge available for the guests, the big amoung of electric plugs in the room, the ear plugs in the room (I found it quiet and did not need them, nevertheless, they are there).
