Arriving at the property involves driving onto the beach (or getting a taxi), which was both daunting and surreal at first, but quickly became one of my favourite things about it. We had an SUV (not 4x4) and had no problems - the sand is really hard and easy to drive on. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful over WhatsApp, and made us feel very welcome during our stay. He's an excellent chef, and we ate at the hotel every day to make the most of his incredible cooking. The property itself is on it's own stretch of a fairly deserted beach (which becomes inaccessible during high tide) and both the views and isolation are beautiful. We went for walks and swam during the day and drifted off to peaceful sound of the waves and wind at night.

Royal Decameron Mompiche boasts an outdoor pool and rooms with balconies. It is only 100 metres from the white-sand beach and offers free boat rides to the beach club Portete Island, 3 minutes away.
