La Placa is a wonderful calm oasis off the beaten track in a tiny village that has not changed since the 15th century. There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel which offers great value. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating on our last day when our flight was late in the evening out of Girona.

This is a wonderful place to stay. A truly unique experience. The house is an old farmhouse filled with old grandfather clocks, phones, etc. it oozes charm. The owner was kind enough to make us a a lovely dinner at short notice -we had walked from Girona and arrived late - which we ate at the 20 ft long table in the kitchen. Also breakfast was incredible. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Peaceful location in a nice old village, with large garden area and comfortable swimming pool. Ideal for a family. Very good location to visit Girona or Costa Brava beaches and villages. Close to town with many shops where you can find local specialities, I would especially recommend traditional bread in Fleca Can Frances bakery in Torroella de Montgri. Apartment equipped well in everything you may need during your stay, clean and comfortable.

Absolutely stunning building, spacious house for our family and relaxing pool. The hosts were amazing - they gave us a lift to the nearest town for food, rented us bikes, and helped us find a local pizza delivery from Girona! Can’t wait to come back again.

The location is amazzzing. We loved San Rieja as a Cala. Small but cute. The decor is lovely, everywhere is clean. And the staff were unbelievably helpful - for booking restaurants on a busy week-end but especially whe we had a nightmare with our rental car.
