This was a delightful place for a stopover on our way south. Patricia looked after us beautifully. The room was lovely - clean, bright, airy and comfortable. The added bonus of having a swimming pool was much appreciated after a long drive. Breakfast was wonderful - lots of fresh fruit included. We were able to walk to a restaurant, recommended by Patricia, for dinner - 3 courses for 25€ each and superb quality. We loved the Boule d'Or !

Hotel was large enough to have all facilities with restaurant but still family run with personal touch. Management could notice have done anything more to improve our stay.

Absolutely exceptional !!! Belinda & Dany are wonderfull host, welcoming, friendly, helpfull. The property is wonderfully well restored old typical Charentaise farm house. The rooms are huge, comfortable & the bed are so comfy. Everything is spotless, the bathrooms very well appointed. The whole property & area are so quiet & peacefull. Beautifull great outdoor swimming pool area, huge garden, orchard & many other aminities. Finally, to top it all, a fantastic breakfast with Belinda homemade jams & fruits grown on the property itself.

Very nice place on the country side. Quite and all what you'll need you'll find there. The host is very friendly and professional. I just wait to comeback on Patrick house and next time to stay longer to have time for a glass of wine with him. Also is there a very good restaurant gourmet, but reservation in advance is mandatory.
