Beautiful fishing lake. Very tranquil. Plenty of outdoor seating. Lovely family of wild cats and kittens lived near by and were welcome visitors. Spacious accommodation and good facilities.

Brilliant find - this little place - very quiet and perfect to relax. Amazing food - loved the dinner and breakfast and enjoyed the company as well. Wish we were there for more time.

This place is astonishly good! Really cute rooms, beautifully decorated - with a bohemian, creative vibe! The lovely hosts showed us around their property and explained that we had use of lots of communal living spaces too. Breakfast was incredible... lots of delicious home made stuff (breads, waffles, jams, yoghurts, etc). The photos don't do this place justice!

Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, homemade yoghurts, a selection of fresh bread, cheeses and cold meats. The jams were homemade and delicious. The coffee was plentiful and delicious. The perfect start for a busy day of exploring Parthenay. Our hosts were delightful, kind and very knowledgeable about the area.

Property is beautiful. Location is quiet & peaceful. Sylvain was very welcoming, cooked us a wonderful evening meal and supplied a lovely continental breakfast. It appeared that all the food is locally sourced. Would definitely return.

Etang et Famille - Sherlock is set in Verruyes and has a heated pool and garden views. There is a private entrance at the holiday park for the convenience of those who stay.

Great facilities, clean, modern, access to a lovely pool. Lovely host. Great access to the land and walks around the lake. Found some lovely hikes/ walks only 20 minutes away by car too.
