Staff made a real deal of my Mum's birthday, rendition of "Happy Birthday" and a mention on her dessert plate was very special. The gardens even in winter are beautiful. Everything was perfect. We loved the huge kitchen, where we ate our breakfast. Children loved the numerous rooms, where they could hide. And the old piano also was very popular among kids, since 2 of them are learning to play and the music was filling the house, whenever we were in. The welcoming basket was nice thing to see, not only for children.

Recently refurbished with great facilities for the price. Easy free parking 50 yards away. Private entry door for guesthouse if you don’t want to access the bar. There is a kitchen provided upstairs with kettle toaster microwave etc and complimentary cereals, drinks, yoghurts and fruit. I had a really good sleep after a long days drive, well recommended
