Very cosy room (303) even had a little balcony. Breaky was delicious with plenty of self serve items and the a cooked breakfast of your choice. Restaurant food was pretty good as well. Fabulous lounge area with so many chesterfield lounges. Beautiful village

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the village. The room was excellent. The toiletries provided were of high quality and had a pleasant aroma. The hot tub was a great way to unwind and relax. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

    The family room we stayed in is spacious--bigger than other family rooms we stayed in the Lake. The location is perfect within walking distance to Allan Bank, restaurants, and a playpark if you stay with children like us. The parking situation is stress-free because you can park right in front of the house. The place is very clean, unlike most dog-friendly places we stayed before. The staff at breakfast and reception are a gem. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

    The staff were lovely, hard working and approachable. We had a nice packed lunch which we ordered the evening before for taking on a walk the following day. The property is lovely and it was super dog and child friendly. You can do lovely walks to Helm Crag and Easedale Tarn from the front door as well as a half a mile walk to Grasmere. Parking is easy too.
