Very spacious . Very comfortable and clean. Lots of ice touches from shortbread,milk,cooking oil, books ,maps and games. Beautiful towels and shower products . Room for children to play outside

Great location, set in its own beautiful grounds, close to the A18 just north of York
Friendly and helpful staff
Good value accommodation
Great restaurant, the many has something for everyone, big portions and good value food.
The York Bird of Pret Centre is also based in the grounds and was a fantastic place to go for a family visit

Have stayed here numerous times when we come up to visit family. Never any issues. The restaurant staff are always fab and polite with good food. The room was very small, the bathroom had a funny smell to it.

Quite nice. Functional. Restaurant fair. Overpriced drinks and wine. Breakfast good. Never had what appeared to be knitted sausages before so that was novel. Great spot to tour around. And fantastic raptor sanctuary right next door. Amazing birds and falconers. Great Indian restaurant just a mile or so up the road.
