The amazing quietness, the authenticity of the furniture, doors, the details, the smell of the sheets and towels, the balcony , the location for our interest ( the Apocalypse Cave ) , the singing of the birds , the cleanliness, the view, the privacy. Everything about the property is great, the room is spacious and clean and the small balcony just right for an alfresco breakfast. The location is perfect, quiet but within walking distance of everything Skala has to offer. Although the studio is good the star of the show has to be Nicolas and his family. You are warmly welcomed and nothing is too much trouble; from tours around the island with Nicolas’ enthusiastic commentary, his wife’s tasty home made treats and the friendliness of his three children. Thank you all so much for your generous hospitality.

Hotel very close to the port. Old town and beaches are about 45 minutes by foot, shuttle buses start close by the hotel too. Since I arrived in pre-season the pool and what seems to be a pool bar were not yet operating, but the area appears nice. Breakfast was good as well.

A small traditional house. The hosts were very nice. We even got some wine and sweets. There is a big parking down the road. 10 min walk to the restaurants and shops. A bakery and a grocery shop nearby. A laundry room is a big plus when coming back from the beach.
