This was an amazing stay. There is lovely hotel staff and the rooms are nice and clean. Big plus for the amazing air conditioning that was in the room, it worked wonders in the hot summer heat. Great value for money.

Mrs Gaal is friendly, efficient, and happy to help. The rooms are very, very clean. The location a little outside of town is beautifully quiet, and within walking distance of the excellent "Rodeo" restaurant. Perfect for cyclists as she can lock the bikes in the garage overnight.

Big, lightful room. Much space, very comfortable bed, very clean bathroom, fridge and minibar, breakfast possible and also only getting a cup of coffee/ beer etc for 1-2€. Good WiFi, parking place available, didn't hear any neighbours (not many people there, though), great garden (very interesting statues of women all around, also inside the house - really great, very inspiring). Playground, grill area, wintergarden available. Cool hiking tracks nearby (200m and in the forest), very friendly landlady, all very easy and perfect for business stay and hiking vacation, alike! I woke up to the sound of chicken. Really great! Price absolutely good - can only recommend!

Sparkling clean, with all you need and more. Despite being just a stop on a longer journey, we had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. The location is perfect, in the center of Szentgothart, a beautiful and picturesque small town.

My first stay was in 2017 my father and brother live in Mayarlak which is a 5 minute drive the hotel has everything you can ask for the staff are friendly very welcoming. I then returned in 2019 and then again in 2022 and now July 2024. I would highly recommend Gotthard hotel I would like to thank Fábián Fanni who has arranged my taxis to see my father you all have gone above and beyond to make my stay an absolute joy. It was the best place. Out in beautiful nature, surrounded by welcoming hosts and a great respect for the deep values in life. Go there, eat homegrown food, sit under a tree. Maybe pet a pig or a cat and enjoy yourself. The best beds, the best breakfast and the best hosts!
