Stay at Nuansa Homestay was one of the highlights of our trip. Aldi and his family are the kindest and most welcoming people we’ve met in Indonesia. It was wonderful to talk to them over dinner and learn more about their lives. They helped us with getting a scooter and we’re really helpful throughout. The room we stayed in was basic, but very comfortable. We had a great night sleep. The bathroom is new with western toilet. Thank you for having us in your lovely home.

I always stay at Misiliana when I come to Toraja. The staff are friendly, the accomodation is nice and it is one of the very few places in Toraja where there is a lovely bar that makes cocktails. Perfect for relaxing in the afternoon after a big day of ceremonies etc. The breakfast selection is very good and the dinner menu is ample to get you through. There are onsite massages, atm and a little grocery store.

My dream of sleeping in a traditional tongkonan came true! Aldhi and his family are the best host, they really make you feel at home. Aldhi was really nice, he came to pick us up at the bus station at 4am, and he's a precious source of information for the Toraja land, he gave us a lot of reccomendations for places of interest and restaurant and he provided us with a scooter and a great guide (ask of Yuspan) for attending a Toraja funeral and visiting interesting places. I highly recommend this place

Aldi and Joseph treated me like family. Pick me up at the bus station and dropped me off. They also provided local information, arranged a scooter and accompanied me to a local funeral ceremony. The room is quiet, rural, with flowers and birds. It is affordable. The room was basic but clean.
