Well kept grounds, simple but you will have everything you'd need. Even water filler tanks in room. Staff was super helpful and nice, I definitely recommend to stay at Barondas. Little bit of from centers huzzle, which was definite plus but not too far from the airport or harbor.

I stayed at GG homestay for one night after staying in the raja Ampat, as I had an early flight the next day. Anitha the owner is very kind and efficiently organized everything, including my taxis at a very reasonable price. She even came to pick me up at the Harbour, also gave me restaurant recommandation. The room was very clean and comfortable. Thank you for the warm welcome.

The owner of Innbox Hostel is the best host I have ever meet (and I've been travelling on my own for more than 20 years). She truly cares about guest and does everything to help and please everybody. For example after a very bad experience on a boat for diving, I came back for one night in a very bad state cause had severe ears issues. The crew on the boat didn't care about me neither my health, so I was just left alone on the Waisai jetty with fever and hurting as hell. When I reached Innbox hostel, I knew I would have help and could feel safe again. Ingrid, the magic woman, found a specialist for me on a Sunday and I got treatment the our after I arrived !!! She is just the best friend you MUST have in Sorong !!!! The best thing in this place is the breakfast 🤫 Ingrid is an excellent backer and cooks amazing cakes (pandan, cheese, chocolate.....🤩). Take time to talk and share with this amazing woman, you will get out of Innbox hostel richer in your heart than when you arrived.
