very excellent experience of staying in this house. the hosts are very kind couple. We arrived late, it was already dark, the host walked downstairs greeting us. Show us all the facility to us. They are really kind-hearted people. It is so warm and considerate. the house is very spacious, tidy and cozy, with good facility and kitchen ware.

I was only one night but had everything I needed. Is easy to park and the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet.The house is what you expect for a "Icelandic traditional house" and perfect for those we don't want a hotel chain. We had tried the "Blue House" at the beginning of our travel, which also belongs to the host, so we suspected what awaited us. Place a little less warm than the Blue House but very good to spend a night. Well located enough to relax at the city's Sky Lagoon. Thank you very much ! Justine & Paul

The location was superb. We left our car in an inexpensive carpark and did much of our exploration on foot. We were beside the lake, near the parliament buildings, across from the church (which kindly was NOT ringing its bells), and dozens of excellent restaurants. We drove to the sites further afield. We had selected the "Big Room 307" and were charmed by it. A separate bedroom, good bathroom, and a sitting room with sofa and bar stools at the counter. The breakfast buffet got us off to a good start each day. All the Reception staff were great with Martin setting the tone. Lovely to have met you all.

24-hour desk is great to have; the host was so helpful in getting us checked in and showing where's what. Being tired and sleep-deprived after a long travel, and arriving in the middle of the night, it sure was welcome. All the facilities are clean and well planned out. The bed is very comfortable. The whole place is very clean and feels very safe. I would definitely recommend for a solo female traveler.
