Very colourful, cute little cabin in the woods. Very quiet which was really good. Free use of the BBQ, hot tub etc. Had a decent little kitchenette as well so you could whizz up a quick meal for dinner after a long day of driving.

I wish I could've stayed here for a few days. The area is beautiful, the cabin was very pleasant and clean. I loved the hot tub by night. When I go back to Iceland I hope I get to go back here too!

This cabin was pure magic. Tucked away in peaceful nature, it felt like stepping into a cozy Icelandic dream. Every detail — from the lighting to the decor to the thoughtful little touches — was clearly arranged with care. The space was spotless, warm, and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. We only wish we had booked more nights — it was the perfect place to unwind after long days on the road. The views, the atmosphere, the comfort… everything exceeded our expectations. Comfy beds, beautiful location, clean room, great amenities (pool table, hot tub, infrared sauna etc), the viewing deck was perfect to watch the aurora! The host was so hospitable. Highly recommend!!

This is a nice place for a family with 2 children, but not for a 2 couples. The kitchen had all needed appliances.

What a wonderful hotel. It's family run, and the proprietor Hildur is amazing! It has homely and cozy properties, much like a boutique guesthouse despite it's size. Great breakfast, bar at the lobby with some extremely friendly staff, a selection of hot tubs outside in the forest, and a nice lounge. I didn't want to leave at all, but rather just move in permanently!

The location and price of the hotel was perfect. Surprisingly nice rooms for the price. We loved it! Easy check in.
