This place was set in a stunning location along a perfect narrow winding road, almost teasing you to what was to come. I was lucky to find myself as the only guest during my stay. I was spoilt! Katya and Andrea treated me as one of their family. It was peaceful, in beautiful setting surrounded by wildlife. We were even treated to the sounds and sights of deer rutting… an absolute privilege. Thanks to you both for a fantastic stay!

House is lovely. Situated in a woodland setting with views of the valley and the nearest village, where there is a lovely pizzeria. House is very comfortable with comfy sofas, a lovely well-equipped kitchen, a large kitchen table, as well as useful outdoor seating areas, including in the garden and on the balcony of the upper floor. Beds are comfortable and lovely shower is just what's needed after a hot, sunny day. Nice touches we appreciated included having soft throw blankets for the sofas while flopping at the end of a day of sightseeing, and having a selection of seasoning, spices, rubs etc in the kitchen. For families, a washer and separate drier is always a bonus. We were very happy here and were grateful to have good WIFI and the option of watching smart TV, of which there are three.

There's a town with more food options 2km away from Fudy's Home. We went there first after our hike and our host somehow found us there and made sure we got our direction right with the house. She was also very friendly and helpful with suggesting the transportation for the next day after we check out. There was a minor problem with the heating stove and electricity, and she arrived very soon to help us solve the problem. The house got amazing balcony with stunning view, as well as a neat cozy kitchen.

We have had the privilege of enjoying this truly beautiful place. As a couple coming from a busy and pressured environment Raggio di Sole proved a breath of fresh air and tranquility as location for our 4-week workation. The owners were available to our any request and the hard work they have put - and are still investing - into this place is remarkable. The room had everything we needed for staying and working here. In our free time we would enjoy the sun that beamed on the terrace from 9 in the morning till 7 in the evening. Enjoying the awesome views reading a book and enjoying a good glass of wine. Do realize that the location is beautiful and private, and also rather remote. There is a bakery with fresh daily bread in Popiglio at a 10 minute ride. Nearest bigger supermarket with a butcher is at 20 mins. Bars and great Italian take away in the same town of San Marcello at 20 mins. We have greeted wild pigs and deer during our stay that you can see occasionally outside the fences of the location at the creek. The property is well lit and fenced which always made us feel secure.
