Absolutely spotless . Very comfy bed , proper pillows, nice dark bedroom with the shutters . Very handy laundry room where you could pay at machine and don’t need detergent. Pretty good view and short walk into city centre . Marco who looks after the property was very helpful as well .

A very nice boutique hotel in the Italian countryside. The location offers a feeling of serenity and a chance for meditation. We were amazed by the breakfast offered as everything was bio and of the highest quality.

It is a fully renewed set of rooms on an historical building inside the city walls. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, with efficient air conditioning for the hot summer days. There are two restaurants on the ground floor (we heard no noise or disturbances at all from our room), very convenient for dining, with good prices and top quality. One kitchen is specialised in meat and the other in sea food. Great local and regional food and wine selection. However the best feature was the people, especially Mauro the owner, but also the restaurant and cleaning staff. Everybody friendly, customer oriented and ready to support with your needs. We are used to making holiday in Italy so we know that a friendly attitude is somewhat typical, but this was simply next level

The luxury is unbeatable, gorgeous house and surrounding. Really close to Verona and there's enough to do in the area. Just keep in mind for fellow young travelers. Everything is car based if you wanna travel. Except the pool. €5 euros and a minute walk.

I visited Casa Babbuino mid July, my first three impressions where immediately positive: 1. I arrived during the night … it was very easy to get a self check in with super fast and nice communication 2. Like 5 min / 350m away from the hotel is a public parking space for 5,- a day … there was always a lot of spaces available. Next to this in the streets it might be even possible to park for free .. I am not 100% sure of that 3. When I arrived at the hotel (the entrance is not so easy to find, because there is no big name in it .. but is this beautiful green door ..) the lobby was already to tasteful arranged .. the next I noticed was the absolutely gorgeous garden … then I entered my room and it was really big, the furniture was classy and new .. large bathroom… From the hotel to the start of the “old town” it’s like 10-15 min walk .. just one street easy to find. A supermarket is like 200 m away and some restaurants are around the corner. Over all the area is very quiet. With the easy parking options it’s a good starting point to visit locations around Verona .. like lake Garda is a 30 min drive. Thanks for the nice visited and especially the gin tonic at the end. It is definitely THE BEST place where we have stayed in Italy. We wanted to stay a little far from the hustle of a touristic place like Verona, but still get the taste of Italy and La Locanda was the right place for this. It is situated in a beautiful region, surrounded by vineyards, so the road leading to this location is like in a movie. When we got to the apartment everything was just right, the temperature was ideal inside, the beds were very comfortable, and there was some food and water in the fridge thanks to our host. The view from our balcony was also really nice _ there was a table and some chairs so we could enjoy a nice glass of wine in a beautiful scenery. There was a little supermarket in front of the location which was great. There was also a great restaurant downstairs and another one nearby- great Italian food. Our host was really friendly - she speaks mostly Italian, but she made us feel at home. We would definitely come back again.

The property was in a perfect location set in the heart of vineyards. The room was clean and spacious and the food was incredible! We travelled around the region and ate in different places but nothing could be compared to Bacco d’Oro. Our host Martina was extremely nice and kind, anything a host could ask for. We are very grateful for this experience and hope to come back soon.
