Very clean, good location, easy self checkin (we arrived late), bathroom was superb, the fridge was full with drinks and a list of prices. We liked very much the idea of guest leaving short messages on the wall. Also the communication with the reception was excellent.

The hosts were amazing. They gave us excellent instructions for parking close to La Lupa, a map full of great eating suggestions, sights to see, and walking tips. La Lupa itself was bright and modern, tastefully decorated, and well set up for easy access for guests to go in and out. They had a comfortable bed, a small fridge, and a great sized bathroom with divine products for showering, etc. The room also had a little balcony that at the right time of year would be quite enjoyable - a bit too cold for us this trip. The location is superb and within walking distance to all of Matera.

Danilo is the guy who welcomed us. He was amazing. Extremely friendly and positive person. Helped us with taxi for our return and was very welcoming. Thank you, Danilo! The location is very good, right next to the old city and the Sassi but still in the modern part.

Best location for Matera sightseeing. Close to any of historical place you have to see, to any of nice restaurants you have to try. It’s very romantic especially in the night. If you have a car(rental car) with you, by the way, Matera is also great location for visiting other Puglia cities such as Alberobello.

The staff were incredibly kind - they upgraded our ‘cave’ at no cost. He also did an excellent job to make sure we were comfortable. The location was absolutely phenomenal. Everything we had planned was a 2-10min walk. No parking provided but the garage they suggested was close by. The room exceeded all my expectations. I also enjoyed that we got to select what we wanted for breakfast and had it delivered to our room. Mattress was also very comfortable. Made for a very special weekend.

An amazing cave experience. The staff was fantastic! They offered us a delicious glass of red wine on arrival which was a lovely touch. We loved our room and the breakfast was delicious as well. A truly beautiful place.
