The environment here is absolutely lovely. We even have a little cat neighbor who drops by in the morning to say hello! The hostess is incredibly kind and attentive—she’s truly thought of everything. We were welcomed with breakfast biscuits, milk, water, and every amenity we could possibly need. Everything is perfectly in place. We’re completely in love with this place!

Giovanna saved us after a rainy day on the Via degli Day. We had a lovely stay and were welcomed with open arms. She was incredibly thoughtful and even offered to drive us to the trattoria in town, offered to let us use the washing machine and cleaned our hiking shoes! The room was very nice and the breakfast was really good too! Perfect stay and would definitely recommend!

This place suprised me in many ways. It was one of the quorikiest and prettiest places i have been. The needs of the people in VDD were also wery Well thought, like laundry possibilities and possibility of taking breakfast with you. The host was amazing and helping with every need. Amazing location in the middle of the mountains. Rooms were large, clean and nicely decorated. Communication was easy and the host was always helpful. The property itself was perfect, with plenty of space for time outside or a swim in the pool. Would visit again!

A beautiful house in a lovely village very conveniently located close to Bologna. The host, Stefano is a gem of a person who was available to receive us and see us off. A welcome fruit basket and breakfast amenities were over and above expectations. The house is large enough to accommodate 5 people and has all the facilities available for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was an outstanding stay.

We just wanted to express what a truly amazing time we had at Hotel Crinale in Grizzana! We were so pleasantly surprised by the Disney touches we noticed around the check-in area when we arrived. It was lovely to learn from the owners that you both previously worked for Disney Cruise Line. You've clearly brought that wonderful dedication to customer service to your hotel. We were so impressed by how immaculately clean the hotel was. Our room was the perfect size for the two of us, and the mountain view was absolutely breathtaking. We loved being able to keep the windows open and enjoy the fresh air, accompanied by the delightful chirping of birds each morning – such a welcome change from the city noise! The breakfast was an absolute highlight! It was such a treat to enjoy the freshly baked cakes and biscuits, and even homemade peanut butter, courtesy of the owner's sister. The selection of cereal, toast, fresh local fruit and juice was also fantastic. And to top it off, the owner's delicious hot breakfasts and his wife's amazing espresso coffees were the perfect start to each day. The hotel's central location was also ideal for exploring the region. We easily took the train to Bologna, Florence, and Venice. On our next visit, we definitely plan to stay longer and use Hotel Crinale as our base to explore more of the surrounding area and take advantage of the walking trails you have. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful and memorable stay.
