The boss and his staff are very thoughful. For instance, they arranged vegetarian meal and that was truly delicious. The house itself is very well decorated and has a very special ambience, out of time. I would definitely recommand the place to anyone looking for a traditional ryokan experience in Kinosaki. There was a spectacular view from our room across the river, the onsen has an inside and outside onsen. The volume of food served in our room was impressive as was the range in the buffet for breakfast. You have a free pass to all of the public onsen and they are all diverse so try them all! The town itself is pretty with the river though the middle

This is my second stay and it's a fantastic place to unwind and relax. I have minimal Japanese but my English speaking host and the rest of the staff put me at ease. The food was amazing and plentiful and the private onsens were straight out of an Instagram story. Book here, you won't be disappointed
