Noren Yado Meigetsu is a traditional Japanese style guest house in a beautiful old building. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the meals were exceptional. The salmon cooked in foil was the best dish we have had so far in Japan. A great place to stay!

This guest house that I would call more like a ryokan is wonderful, the house, the garden, the nice breakfast, but most of all, the host was great. My main memories of tsuwano will ever be her(Kana) and her ryokan. They were the highlight of my stay in tsuwano . Share a japanese style room with another guest, make it more interesting . Never been in a hotel like this before. And I liked it. First of all, the staff. They are all very kind. Second, the location. Great views! Funky design. And frankly, there are not many hotels in that area. So we were intrigued by the high rating on Booking.com at such a low price. And we found out the concept is actually quite cool - literally! You can eat whatever you feel like. There is a relatively small buffet of freshly prepared stuff. And then there is a virtually endless supply of frozen food, which you can microwave and/or grill on the spot. To boot, there is a huge selection of (alcoholic) drinks, free of charge too.
