I recently stayed at this lovely guest house and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere felt just like home, making my stay very comfortable. Family house close to the "center" of Balykchy. The owners are super sweet and will help you in anything you need. The rooms are very big and the bathroom is correct. There is a kitchen space you can use, with a water filter so you can drink it safely. The lady who runs everything speaks excellent English. Balykchy is a good place to spot the lake from different points, enjoy the view of the mountains and keep calm and quiet, zero touristy.
