I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

A piece of heaven in the countryside of Sri Lanka. The villa is located inside a beautiful garden and just 10 min from the beach. The host will do everything to make you feel at home. I really appreciate that the host took me to visit the surrounding area free of charge. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of Sri Lankan, Indian or Western food. For a very reasonable price, he also offers an excellent dinner. Thanks again :)

best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far! absolutely gorgeous garden with clean and fresh pool, rooms were nice, built in European style, so it has a separate shower, which comes in hand. But the owners and staff were absolutely the best. they were really nice and kind the whole stay, we had a lot of fun together. Mrs. Alexandra was lovely, kind and helpful all the time. Mr. Nelson is the best cook in Sri Lanka, we really enjoyed his cuisine. There is no chance finding better accommodation. also the beach is calm and without people.

A very cute property in Bentota. The resort is really amazing, worth staying. The beach is just a small walk away, crossing the rail path- which gives another wonderful experience. The food is simply amazing.. The best we had in our trip to Sri Lanka. Special mention to the wonderful Chef and all the staff for the wonderful hospitality

Ample space with lounge area, 2 comfortable beds and a long balcony. Also, spotless with great decoration and crisp bedsheets. 2 AC units, Staff and owners were very helpful. Modern bathroom with shower cubicle and a jacuzzi bathtub. Very clean. A decent new swimming pool. Cooked us delicious dinner which we loved. Hotel overlooking a beautiful river where we watched speed boating, jet skiing and other rides. We also went on boat safari. Stunning views. Very near to Aluthgama Bus Station. We love it. Will go back.

This was a lovely, well-run property with nice amenities. The pool and grounds were well taken care of and beautiful. The plantings and paths provided an ambiance of peacefulness and calm. The breakfast was delicious and generous. (We hadn't known that it was an option when we reserved, but were happy to pay for it when it was provided.) The hostess and staff were very friendly and courteous and asked numerous times how we liked our stay and if there was anything they could do for us. There was a heavy rainstorm one evening and they carefully prepared the grounds in advance, moving furniture and towels to safe places, and immediately cleaned up afterwards. We would definitely recommend this property.
