Chikondi, who runs the Quest, is very dedicated and super friendly. The breakfast is huge and so are the rooms. Perfect location between downtown and the airport, there are some nice places to eat in the area. Everything was very clean. Nice would be a cozy seating area in the garden.

I write this piece 6 weeks after my visit to Lilongwe and after touring Germany, Bulgaria and Poland. In short, in any of the latter 3 countries I would have had to pay 5 to 6 times more than I did in Lilongwe, if i wanted to enjoy service, space, comfort and peace remotely equivalent to the Burley House experience. Apart from enjoying a comfortable room with good WiFi, international TV (we watched the IPL and ATP tennis), wonderful meals and an incredible garden, what stands out at Burley House is the incredible warmth of the staff. This is not surprising as it is, after all, Malawi.
