AustraliaDos Amates and the surrounding areas of Las Tuxtlas are absolutely beautiful, but staying at Cabanas Ixaya was the best part. The cabanas are very comfortable and clearly made with love and thoughtfulness. There are fans, great beds, mosquito nets, a fridge in each room and ample space. The kitchen is well equipped with a lovely outlook on the property. It is so quiet, and the views from the cabanas and surrounding streets are of lush forest and mountains.. the online pictures don't do the property justice! The owners, Andres and Blanca, are wonderful, hospitable, kind people who made us so comfortable. This stay was a highlight of our trip to Mexico.
