My stay at Sunrise Point exceeded my expectations. The private rooms are huge and you get a double bed and private bathroom with a hot efficient shower. The views from the room are breathtaking, you can see the Himalayas, and are incredible at sunrise, it feels like you are living in the clouds. The rooms are set in their own area away from the family home so it's very peaceful and private so you can have plenty of solitude in the quiet mountains, but it felt very homely and special to join the family and eat in the communal area, having each meal cooked fresh with ingredient from the farm. The family all care about their guests so much always making sure they have the best time. Staying here is such a special experience to live close to a local family to learn from them about their farm, the passion for a happy life, their culture and traditions.

We stayed three nights and were surprised about the quietness, the good food, the view, and the friendlyness of the owners. We highly recommend staying and would come back any time. It is better to stay here then in Nagarkot. In the morning you can see sometimes monkeys while enjoying delicious breakfast. We went for good hikes and enjoyed the nature around. The rooms are big with big windows to see the birds and squirells. Kessab is a fantastic cook and very accomodating. Thank you so much for having us!

Mountain view from our room was excellent. We were lucky enough experiencing Himalaya range in clear sunny weather. Breakfast and other foods (lunch and dinner) were very good with reasonable options. Staffs were very caring, friendly, and helping, they really own the property. The resort maintains a wonderful garden, that added an extra pleasure.

We stayed at the Himalayan villa just for one night,but we hoped to stay more.The view was amazing and the staff was fantastic,as well as the breakfast.Mr. Govinda,the resident manager, also took us for a walk on the nearest rani jhula and the waterfalls below.We Highly reccommend it

My friend and I (french girls, 23 years old) came for 3 days (2 nights). It was wonderful. The house is very pretty, rooms are perfect (very clean), meals are very tasty. Then, the view was mesmerizing, the stay was very peaceful. And, finaly, the family was welcoming, you really feel at home.

My stay was amazing. This is the perfect choice for budget travelers. Place was very clean and family was really nice. I left my earbuds at the hostel, and they brought it to bus station for my friend to pick it. However I think I also lost my locks there too, they did not tell me, because I did not notice this myself, or maybe not, I just noticed it now, so not sure:) I also called myself when I noticed that earbuds are missing, they did not contact me when they found it, as they found it before. But it is still really nice that owner was honest and tried to help me with that. Really aplreciate this.

The owner is super friendly and helpful. He showed me all around the local area. I kept booking more days to stay because I couldn't get enough of Nagarkot and the nearby villages. Amazing views. Hotel is nice and clean, decent rooms and facilities for the price (which was very reasonable). Great food, especially the thali set menu for dinner, absolutely to die for.

Near to sunrise. Can view sunrise from roof also. Good hospitality by owners who are personally involved in their business. Since they knew about both India and local area, they guided us to the best places. This was of great help. In-house food was good. We enjoyed our stay there.
