We had a change of heart with the rooms and they agreed to swap for a fee. From native houses we transferred to modern stone rooms which suited our family (senior and children). We also had late lunch and everything was fresh and tasty. Each dish was actually good for 2. They have complimentary coffee in the reception area all through out your stay. Nisha is very accommodating and the people of Batad are very warming. We did the 3 days-trek with Randy & Troy and it was amazing. Germaine prepared us a delicious packed lunch every day and was so nice with us. We also shared stories and talks with the family. The guide June was really great, guiding us through hot springs to the terracces in Banaue and Batad where we were able to plant rice wit farmers and to produce some rice from dried harvested plants. The view is absolutely brilliant and the place itself is great. The owners are a friendly family, who also cook for you. The accommodation is basic but has everything you need. The whole stay was so much fun. You get to see what life in the little town is like and it's a very peaceful place.
