This is our second time here, it is beautiful, scenic, inviting, cozy, super duper clean, breakfast was better the first time around with butter milk pancakes and white bread french toast (they were oat pancakes and whole wheat french toast this time) but still ok! Staff is SO SO friendly, pool is not heated so we didn't bother this time it was kinda chilly but we did use it last time and it was ok! We are definitely coming back!!!

Beautiful old house with lovely sunny garden full of flowers and insects with a lovely view of the trees. We even saw deer! Lovely architecture, old wooden floors. Comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen with lots of useful condiments, spices, nuts etc. lots of products in the bathrooms which was a lovely touch. When we did have an issue ( we wanted baking dishes ) they were brought to us first thing. It was pretty near some very good hikes.

We spent a wonderful three days as a family at The Blue House On The Hill. The house is spacious, cozy, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful details. Everything was spotless and nothing was missing. Nora is an excellent host — attentive, quick to respond, and clearly very dedicated. You can really feel the love and care she puts into maintaining the house. The location is also exceptional: peaceful, perfect for disconnecting, and surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and excursions. We were truly sad to leave The Blue House On The Hill… we could have stayed forever!

What a wonderful place to stay,we were met with a very warm welcome from the owner Brendon, the house itself is full of charm and character , our bedroom was really nice, everything being top quality and the bed linen was top end luxury, the bathroom was spotless and a great shower, we spent a few hours relaxing on the front porch. Great Host and a wonderful location, We would definitely stay here again.
