Very well furnished apartment with everything one would need for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Good quality furniture, appliances and utensils which are all well maintained. Stunning aesthetics throughout the home. Beautiful views and bonus of hot tub, pizza oven and braai area. Wonderful space to bring children too (we didn't this time but will bring our kids next time). Very safe with security and peacefulness. Loads to do in the surrounding areas as well as taking walks or run (or bike rides) around the estate. Great recommendations for places to eat at and visit in surrounding area. Hosts were very attentive giving the right amount of info as and when needed.

Breakfast was a mix of a continental spread with an addition of made to order hot food each morning, and even with very last minute super speedy request the team were very eager to help. Food was delicious, fresh and very well prepared. The coffee was also excellent.

Almond Cottage is a great place to stay in the Somerset West area. We returned to a warm welcome and the same room as we had on our first stay. We enjoyed having the extra space on the stoep to read or braai. And the breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

I have to say that our stay in South Africa was even better than we thought and this because we stayed at Bloemenzee Boutique B&B. The breakfast was very good and varied The three course dinner offered was five star The rooms were cozy The dogs were cute and kind The garden was very nice and green with two poles The area was quiet and walking distance to the local range of restaurants and the beach approximately 10-15 minutes But the best thing was the couple who owned the place, Lidwien & Franz, very service minded and humbly offered us a lift to the airport as they were going in that direction anyway. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Gordons Bay and South Africa, we will definitely be back.
