We had a fantastic stay at Kawa Hotel in Salento. We really loved the surprising complimentary upgrade to a suite with breathtaking views of the valley. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, making our experience truly wonderful. The hotel offers many activities, we especially enjoyed the horseback riding and the hike in Cocora Valley. The free forest bath tour was also a highlight. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, teaching us about Pachamama and local biodiversity. We even had the opportunity to plant a young palm tree, Colombia’s national tree, which was a memorable experience. Morning yoga with view is a must. Overall, we loved our stay. Highly recommende

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Hotel Salento plaza is situated in Salento in the Quindio Region, 100 meters from the main square and 26 km from Santa Rosa de Cabal. Great location with large rooms and a very comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and helped us arrange transport to the airport. Nice breakfast too.

Terrazas de Salento is set in Salento, 15 km from Armenia and 24 km from Pereira. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Amazing humble team. Great variety of breakfast . Beautiful breakfast setup staff did in the garden overlooking the mountain.

Really recommend. Lovely staff who are always happy and helpful. It is set in a beautiful building so you get that boutique feel. Lovely breakfast options and lots of info regarding what to do in and around Salento. Coffee farm tours, amazing hikes, downhill mountain bike tours, spas and thermals, give them a try! They have chilled evening get togethers if you want to meet other travellers. I would say this place is suitable for all people. Quiet time after 10pm and it's set on the edge of town with stunning views. This was my final stop of a 4 month trip and I can not think of a better accommodation. Highly recommend and once again thanks to ALL the AMAZING staff, well done.

This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way. We really enjoyed our stay at the Ecohotel Alma We can look back on a fantastic time in the beautiful “Alma Resort” with its beautifully landscaped garden and a wonderful family who gave us a warm welcome and made our stay a wonderful experience. -Very friendly and attentive staff -we had a spacious 2-bed room with a fan (there are different rooms) -The beds are very comfortable - we slept so well -We really liked the bathroom w/outdoor shower -the location is very quiet (despite the nearby street) -very good breakfast, great coffee, everything fresh (partly. from own garden or surrounding area) -Simple menu for dinner – but very tasty (preferably fish in aluminum foil ;-) -located in a lovely, safe area in the countryside -There are also other restaurants nearby (take a taxi) -a very fair price-performance ratio -Wifi worked perfectly -We even managed to reach Alma by public bus and taxi for the last mile** **We are grateful that we found EcoHotel Alma. They also helped us to organise a visit at Finca Don Leo (organic coffee farm) and at nearby botanical garden with a Columbian's biggest palm collection and a papiliorama (butterfly house).
